she painted her words.
Lesley is a self taught artist. She loves to paint. It is her escape; her surrender to solitude. Painting plus Art equals joy, and she is inspired everyday by its possibilities.
Her art is revealing, not only in the picture that the brush has composed, but in the artist and the unintentional capture of her journey at that moment. Lesley once held a paintbrush as a compass to find peace. Today her inspiration is found within a story; a story that is captured in an expression or a glance. Passion and the pursuit of what you love is what inspires her art.
Fine Art Giclee Prints are available in her shop. Please contact the artist information about her Original Paintings.

about the artist
Lesley Summerour resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. She spent her childhood in Naples, Florida; moving to North Carolina in 1987 to attend college at Western Carolina University, earning her Bachelors Degree in Corporate Finance. Grateful for her business foundation and her natural knack for mathematics, something was still missing. She unexpectedly fell head over heels into design, art, and writing…her true love. Creativity equals joy, and within the blank canvas of border-less possibilities is where she finds her smile. She is a health food advocate, believing in lifestyle changes…not diets. She enjoys yoga, running, and most exercise that challenges her mentally and physically. She is a Virgo through and through. She believes in the power of prayer, and that her journey would be much different had she not let go and let God lead. She is thankful every day.
